Kinetic sand is really expensive and shipping from Amazon takes several days at this point. Making your own is incredibly easy.

Mix 8 cups of plain flour with 1 cup of vegetable oil. Add glitter and a bit of coloring if you want to and mix. That is it. You are done. Put it in a pyrex dish with cookie cutters, spoons,and measuring cups.

Yes, it is messy. But, it is also magic.
